Waste Products Passed Off as Health Products

shake

I just read a very interesting article about waste products being sold as health products. Supplements aren’t requirements to good health but many health-conscious individuals will include certain supplements in their diet for specific reasons. I take flax seed oil everyday because it clears up my eczema. Before I discovered flax seed I was using dangerous prescription creams that only cleared it up temporarily. Flax seed oil does wonders for my skin and I will continue to take it.

Others consume supplements like whey protein (very popular), creatine, and cod liver oil just to name a few. My grandmother used to make me take cod liver oil as a kid (the liquid kind) with a spoonful of peanut butter to wash it down with - disgusting! Getting back to the article, I was surprised by whey and creatine, two very popular supplements on the market today:

Whey Protein

Another serious toxic byproduct is whey protein, a byproduct of the dairy industry. Whey is milk protein that is discarded from the production of cow milk, a serious toxin to the human body. You can commonly find whey protein in your commercial brand health food stores and local gyms and fitness centers. The dairy industry targets athletes for their whey protein byproduct; perhaps figuring athletes generally are not the brightest individuals. Regardless, whey protein has no business in the human body. It is a waste byproduct and toxin to the human body. Beware of all those protein bars and beverages containing whey. The dairy industry, like all other byproduct waste industries, are using people as trash dumpsters and canisters to rid itself of waste that would otherwise cost it millions of dollars to dispose of. CREATINE

This crap is derived from pig blood and pig brain and muscle tissue in some cases. Pigs are a great source of steroids and other things that bulk up the body. This is why Creatine is a favorite product of bodybuilders; many of who will do almost anything for the desired muscularly built and toned body. [Source: dherbs.com]

Of course doing your own research is always good because you should form your own opinions when it comes to what you put into your body. However, I did find this article really enlightening. You can read the entire article below:

I read the article. There are some good points. However, I sure hope that the author is never in the hospital dying of a problem that could be cured by an organ transplant. Each year millions of people’s lives are saved by the donation of organs. Others die waiting for a transplant. The author makes organ donation sound horrible, but why not donate and save a life, insteat of being small minded and holding onto on that is lost and will never be coming back.

This kind of unsubstantiated ranting from an anti-meat activist is dangerous and irresponsible.Anyone reading this article and taking it seriously needs a dose of reality and actual facts.Statements like:

“Many brands of melatonin are derived from or contain waste product, in some cases, from the remains of dead humans (mostly pineal glands of deceased Black people and Black aborted fetuses)”

Silly and racist to boot.Reason for above statement? “A friend of mine who’s an employee of a hospital in Los Angeles confirmed this startling information to me.”

    Now for some FACTS:

-Natural melatonin, made from the extracts of the pineal glands of animals, usually sheep.
-Synthetic grade melatonin is manufactured under laboratory control from the amino acid tryptophan. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, that is, the body cannot make it; we need to get it through the foods we eat. Tryptophan is found in a wide variety of foods. As we consume tryptophan during the day, the body converts it into serotonin, an important brain chemical involved with mood. Serotonin, in turn, is converted into melatonin. This conversion occurs most efficiently at night.

“Another serious toxic byproduct is whey protein, a byproduct of the dairy industry. Whey is milk protein that is discarded from the production of cow milk, a SERIOUS TOXIN to the human body.”

Fact: HISTORICALLY, whey was considered a waste product (never a toxin by the way, let alone a serious one) in the development of cottage cheese.Just because they threw it out(hence the term ‘waste’) and thought it to be useless, doesn’t make it so.It has since been discovered that whey contains an excellent amino acid profile, dissolves readily, and digests easily. Whey protein also boasts a very high biological value (BV) score, a measure of protein quality. Specifically, whey is high (23%-25%) in branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), which are important for preventing the breakdown of muscle.Whey is therefore better termed a BYPRODUCT and a healthy one at that.

I won’t even try debunking some of the other “waste products” do a simple search for the facts.

Great article! Melatonin derived from sheep has no business inside the HUMAN body. Sheep’s pineal glands are for sheep, not humans. Why give humans what humans already have but may have destroyed? And whey protein? Humans can’t tolerate dairy due to being lactose intolerant. Why does man mess with everything? Animals don’t come to humans for health purposes so why does man go mess with the animals? Tryptophan not derived from a food source is a chemical toxin. Nature does not produce tryptophan in isolated format. Nature produces nothing mono-structured. Anything isolated is unstable and will cause harm to the body. The author’s website is loaded with interesting and fascinating information. And I don’t think we can call the author racist because he said melatonin was being derived from Black people. I have read in many places where we White people have calcified pineal glands which explains why we collectively are not a spiritual people as the pineal gland is the seat of spirituality. On the flip side of the token, research has proven that Blacks have more developed pineal glands and thus explains why they are more spiritual than White people. Lastly, facts don’t make a thing true. Facts only mean taking from what authority has given you or said to you. The author clearly deals with reason and common sense and challenges folks ability to think for themselves regardless if you believe him or not in what he teaches.

Propaganda!!!!….I must say the article IS quite entertaining in an ignorant, bizarre and completely bias kind of way :)The author is obviously…well….a vegan nazi to say the least. Some things may be partially true, but waaaaaay exagerrated

Vegan Nazi? Veganism has nothing to do with politics like Nazis, who by the way were financed by Americans (Rockefellers, JP Morgan, Prescott Bush, et al.) and American corporations (ITT, ATT, Ford Motors, Standard Oil, et al.). Read “The Nazi-American Money Plot” by Charles Higham if you are not afraid to read. Because most Americans are dumb downed, many have no desire to read which accounts for so much ignorance in the world today of which you, Sarah, display. Djehuty a Quack? Go study the origins of the word and you’ll find that it’s actaully a compliment to him. And thinking yourself into disease? Djehuty is on the money here too and what he espouses (i.e., thought creates reality including disease) is supported by great works such as the “The Secret” (N.Y. Times Best Seller) by Rhonda Byrnes, “Thoughts Are Things” by Ernest Holmes, “The Science of Mind” by Ernest Holmes, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, and more importantly pertaining to health and disease, “Your Body Speaks Your Mind” by Deb Shapiro, “Your Body Believes Every Word You Say: The Language of the Body/Mind Connection” by Barbara Hoberman Levine, “Your Body Can Talk” by Susan L. Levy, “The Body Language of Illness” by Eleanor Limmer, and “The Body Talk System” by John Veltheim. So it seems Djehuty is in pretty good company. Understand mental science before you knock it, which displays grand ignorance on your part, Sarah, which is the grandest of all disease. If more people understood and applied mental science we’d have more millionaires in this country instead of common 9 to 5′ers who are living from paycheck to paycheck and not following or doing their heart’s desire like Mr. Djehuty but who instead waste precious time player-hating on the Inter-net against people who are actually being the change they desire to see in the world.
